The cultural heritage of the town of Taroudant in southern Morocco in the Souss Massa Daraa, undoubtedly plays a crucial role in regional development, once exploited. In this perspective, the cultural project aims at integrated development of various aspects of tangible and intangible heritage. : Archaeological sites, natural sites, historical monuments, traditional crafts, performing arts, culinary arts. Among the objectives of these circuits, there are mainly: the conservation and redevelopment of the cultural heritage, development of cultural tourism integrated circuits, the desire to existing tourist sites a locomotive of regional development, and diversification of tourist product to attract tourists to 10,000,000 by the year 2010, recognizing that cultural heritage has become the focal point for many tourists.



The mountain of Taroudant, the High Atlas and Anti Atlas are a remarkably attractive but fragile. It has many assets (landscapes, tourist centers, culture, knowledge) sources of wealth and economic factors. Balances traditional mountain tourism is led today to transform itself to meet competition and demand for higher quality. The mountains are a major tourist destinations around the world. Their summits and their beautiful landscapes are a growing attraction as a place of relaxation in an urbanizing world rhythms stressful. But above all, tourism must be sustainable and planned to ensure that present and future generations can enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Over 50 million people visit each year in the mountains. They are attracted by the majestic beauty of its surroundings, the wide range of recreational opportunities available and to dive into the cultural heritage of local communities. The fresh air and bright and imposing beauty of mountain areas, as well as customs, arts, traditions and crafts of the communities that live there are vacation destinations particularly attractive.
